Its summer! I have a feeling this is going to be the best summer ever.
Luke,
I love seeing your little chubby feet and toes.
I love your little body in just a diaper.
I love the smell of sunscreen all over you.
I love how you look kinda sweaty when you wake up from your naps.
Summertime you, is my favourite you so far.
You are crawling and pulling yourself up on everything.
You are now at the point in your crawling phase, where I think you are starting to get frustrated again because your ready for the next thing, walking.
You learn something new everyday.
You give kisses, oh man, I just wanna kiss you all day! Your kisses are open mouth kisses like a baby bird and its just the best thing ever.
You like adventures and being outside.
You also like quiet time and you really like to sleep in your own bed.
You are particular and laid back at the same time.
You like food but you change your mind about what you like, from meal to meal.
You had a big face plant this month and cut your lip with your tooth. You cried pretty hard but when I take you to the window to look outside, it always helps you to calm down.
You have been to the beach and tasted sand, something tells me you will eat a lot of that this summer.
Things keep getting better and better, don't ever stop or slow down, I promise, I can keep up.
Love your mom.
xoxo

Mommy Makeup With Suzanne Toth
I had the pleasure of getting together with Suzanne Toth , Childbirth Educator and talking beauty for moms and busy women. I created 3 looks for Suzanne for various time restraints that we mothers find ourselves in. Each look can be built as the day goes on, without washing your face and starting over. We created a 5 minute makeup, 15 minute makeup and date night look. Some fabulous pictures of Suzanne and all the details, are over on her blog.

I Am Growing A Green Thumb
I am not much of a gardner, many plants have died under my watch. Tyler and I have tried to grow gardens before with little success but we thought we would give it another go this year.
He started researching plant layout, watering schedules and what we needed to keep out any Peter Cotton Tails, that may want to try our lettuce.
The results are a beautiful garden that fill my heart with the most comforting sense of home, when I look out into our back yard in the morning.
Luke and I water the garden each morning and check on the plants when we get back from our walks in the afternoons.
I am really excited for the days when we can make meals with the food from our backyard. There is some work around the house, that just continues to make this place feel more like a home and me continually grateful for our cozy little spot.
Happy weekend friends, may your activities be fruitful.
